About IPA KR
Indonesia Professional Association (IPA) Korea is a group of Indonesian professionals established in 2021 and officially inaugurated in June 2022 by His Excellency Bpk. Gandi Sulistiyanto, the ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia for the Republic of Korea. The intention of the establishment is to represent the Indonesian qualified workers in numerous industries and to be a main player in the creation of a sustainable environment for nurturing and leveraging the Indonesian talent development.

ICD September 2023 Goals
Indonesia Career Day (ICD) Sep 2023 is the second job fair held by the Indonesia Professional Association (IPA) in South Korea. Based on the desire to facilitate the delivery of information in the current era, this activity aims to provide information to Indonesian young talents regarding job opportunities available in South Korea and Indonesia after completing their studies. The target participants of this activity are Indonesian students and Indonesian job seekers but not limited to any parties who are interested in expanding their career either in South Korea or Indonesia and the industries which need foreign talents to diversify their human resources.

Introduction
About Indonesia Career Day (ICD)
Since South Korea has emerged as the new favorite studying abroad destination among Indonesians, it is estimated that the number of Indonesian Students in South Korea is more than 1000 and the level of study is ranging from language schools to doctoral degrees. The rise of economic power, abundant amount of provided scholarships and South Korea's reputation as one of the world technology powerhouses and 4th largest economy in Asia contribute to this phenomenon. Besides developing academic ability, most young Indonesian talents are exposed to a multilingual environment and adapt to a culturally different place of living. This condition shapes them to be a great competent and potential talent. However, the current available job fairs and job seeking websites are not sufficient enough to engage these potential talents
Indonesian Professional Proportion in South Korea by Industry per September 2022
As September 2022, the number of Indonesia professionals in South Korea is estimated 350 individuals with Information technology industry scores the largest percentage with 22% of the total population. This is followed by media and entertainment with 17%, other engineering with 15% and finance with 14%. This shows the Indonesian talents are capable enough to meet the demand of human resources in South Korea.

1. Program Objectives
• Providing a career landscape for foreign job seekers especially Indonesians who are interested to build career in South Korea.
• Bring an opportunity for the companies who aim to be a global company or to expand their business overseas in Indonesia by providing a chance to diversify their human resources.
• Providing interaction moment for job seekers and the companies to exchange the relevant information related to hiring processes.
• Being the groundbreaking event for the planned annual IPA-KR conducted job fair

3. Time and Venue
- Date Time : Saturday, 23 September 2023 (09:30 ~ 17:00)
- Offline Venue : Seoul Youth Hostel (Address: 6, Toegye-ro 26ga-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul, Rep. of Korea)
4. Event Format
The job fair will be conducted for on-site session.
On-site Session
The on-site enables the recruiter to interact with the job seeker directly without any barrier as some recruiters feels that it is important to meet the candidate in-person when conduction the hiring process. The candidates could enter the venue through early registration and on-site registration schema.

5. Candidate Registration Schema
Pre-registration Schema: This schema will be opened from the middle of August 2023 until the early of September 2023 via website of IPA-KR. Candidate could drop their CVs/resumes based on vacancy advertisement in both website and social media of IPA-KR so that the company could do early screening of the CVs.
On-site Registration Schema: Since one of this event objectives is conveying the information and opportunities for the students and job seekers, on-the-spot registration schema accommodates prospected candidates who have not accessed the job fair website for doing registration. They may submit the required information to obtain entry access on the venue. They may submit hard copy of their resumes and interact with the recruiters directly.
6. Candidate Resume Early Access
This feature enables time savings and faster recruitment process as the company could retrieve the prospected candidate information earlier than the job fair scheduled day.
